Luang Phor Tae’s BE 2519 Bell-Ringing Pidta (Luang Phor Tae was born in BE 2434). The master began practicing magic at the age of 15 and studied under many senior monks, including Luang Pu Kian and Luang Phor Tha, among others. Luang Phor Tae is known as the father of Kuman Thong and is recognized by Thailand as the King of Ghosts of his generation; the current King of Ghosts is said to be Luang Phor Yan. It is said that his Kuman Thong spirits had the strongest power in the world. On one occasion, in front of many witnesses, he chanted and performed a ritual that caused a Kuman Thong lying on the ground to stand up and move by itself. The master’s skill in spells for popularity, attracting wealth, and protection is said to have long surpassed ordinary understanding. This BE 2519 Bell-Ringing Pidta is said to be the only Pidta spell amulet ever issued by the master. A small peace bell is contained inside the amulet, said to dispel one’s own hostile energy and bring peace and harmony, alleviate suffering, and avert calamities. The bell-ringing design combined with the Pidta image was empowered by the master’s exceptional spiritual power, so this edition is said to have excellent efficacy. Very few circulate domestically, and there is little hype surrounding it. It is an excellent piece by Luang Phor Tae for wearing and collecting.
